It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and the weather could not have been more perfect. Sarah Jane Photography and I were driving for what felt like forever through what felt like the middle of nowhere. We were on our way to TJ & Britney’s quaint Arizona wedding venue in Florence, the Windmill Winery. Set it the smallest little town southeast of Phoenix valley, the Windmill Winery is an oasis of green! The detail around the property is so unique and pretty! This wedding venue totally fit this special couple.

It was such an honor to witness TJ & Britney tie the knot. They wrote their own vows and I couldn’t help but tear up during their ceremony because their love for each other was so tangible! And not to mention, their bridal party brought so much energy and fun to the whole day. It was clear how much TJ & Britney’s friends truly love them, and it was so special hearing all their memories and stories throughout the day!

Their reception was absolutely beautifully styled, with sequined linens in rose gold, blooming floral centerpieces, and small votive candles. The decor elements were important to Britney, and the execution of her vision was perfect. It was important to TJ & Britney that the reception be full of fun and laughter, and it was nothing short of that. They danced the night away under the barn roof, and as it all came to a close when they exited through a tunnel of their closest friends, Britney said, “Wait, it’s over already?! This day was so fun!”

I couldn’t help but think and hope that every bride feels this way at the end of their wedding day because it really is such a special and meaningful time in a couple’s journey. A wedding day is more than just the dress or the venue, it’s about the people who are celebrating with you and the special elements that make it memorable for the rest of your life.
