Every summer, I look forward to when the Morin family comes to visit Arizona from their East Coast home because that means… photo time!! Every year for the past three summers, every session has been different! We’ve done family photos in the desert, extended family photos with cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents, and this year we had some furry friends (aka PUPPIES!) that came along for the session with just the kids! Meg’s parents’ dog had the cutest puppy litter and Meg thought they would be the perfect addition to their summer session and I LOVED the idea! I am not the biggest “dog” person (#allergies), but I have to admit, these little pups were so darn cute. And, the kids love and adore them, so the photos turned out so sweet!! The puppies slept on the way to the session, so they were calm & still waking up for most of the session. Towards the end of their debut, they were getting more active which made for a fun time chasing them around and getting them to stay put in a basket haha! After the pups were done, we did a regular session for the kids and let me tell you, these siblings are the sweetest together! Brandon is such a protector of his sisters and has such a good attitude! The girls are giggly and sweet and are just the best of friends. I loved that they brought along a wooden stool that Meg’s grandfather made. I love that they incorporated this beautiful family heirloom piece into their photos because it just makes them that much more special.
