A couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Faith Baldwin, a Dallas blogger, who was visiting Arizona! She was staying at the Royal Palms Resort in Scottsdale, and it was my first time ever being there!

IT WAS A DREAM. It actually sparked me to write this blog post on some of my favorite places in Scottsdale! And you better believe, the Royals Palms made the list that day!

Now, I know Scottsdale can have a bitter taste for some, but you can’t deny its charm and beauty! There is so much to do. My husband and I love to hang out around Scottsdale on our day off!

So here is a list of some of my fav go-to spots in Scottsdale. Whether you live here or are planning a visit, you’ve GOT to check out these fun spots!

1. The Royal Palms (obviously, duh!)

See photos from my recent photoshoot there below! It is just so beautiful and peaceful! It has a quaint cottage feel, with palm trees and flower bushes scattered throughout the property! I can’t wait to do a stay-cation there!

2. Ruze Cakehouse

THE cutest dessert shop located near Old Town Scottsdale! Its white and copper theme gives it such a modern and picturesque vibe! They have delicious macarons and cookies, plus they are decorated so beautifully!

3. Sprinkles Cupcakes

Ok, can you tell I like dessert?! Sprinkles Cupcakes is my all-time favorite cupcake store. Their signature red velvet cupcake is my order every single time. It’s just SO good!

4. Blanco Taco

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Scottsdale! Their queso dip is to die for (I mean come on, it’s cheese!!) I love their tacos, and my husband is a huge fan of their fajitas!

5. Top Golf

I am aware that Top Golf is a chain, but I especially love the Scottsdale location because it overlooks the Talking Stick Resort, which is a giant tower hotel that lights up really cool at night! I am not a good golfer, but I love Top Golf because anyone can do it and its fun to do with a big group!

6. Shopping, shopping, shopping!

There are so many great shopping areas in Scottsdale! I love the Scottsdale Fashion Square because its three levels of pure joy. They have every store imaginable!
